Nothing exciting

Wow so I am 36 weeks pregnant and as much as I love that we are able to have children I truly hate being pregnant. Maybe its the fact that we went from hey you can't have kids to bam soon to be 2 kids under 14 months. I truly am blessed with a wonderful little girl and a baby boy on the way but my body just can't take anymore. I am in constant pain at this point and while I know its better to keep the baby in as long as possible I am truly okay if I happened to go into labor next week. Only down side is my mom wouldn't be here to watch Rosie.
Now on to some positives about being pregnant. Who know we would actually have kids. That in itself is pretty amazing. I am very lucky to not have complications during pregnancy outside of the normal aches and pains. And can't forget about the movements even when my bladder is a punching bag. At the end it truly is all worth it. So 3.5 more weeks till my due date. I really can't wait to meet him and see how Rosie does. and just all of it.

As far as other news. Nothing really. Fall is starting to creep up which I am okay with. I think I have finally accepted the weather here I mean after all we are from MN so its not like it is really new or anything like that and I do enjoy it here. I am wanting to find a apple orchard and pumpkin patch to head to. I am wanting to make some apple crisp and other things.

Well I think I have rambled on enough and posting a post about absolutely nothing..lol so I think I will just go. Besides Rosie is now needing help.

Time to get back into this

I always have the best intentions to blog but well I get sidetracked..lol So I will try again.

Lets see Rosie is now 1 years old. WOW, I can't believe it. She is just an amazing little girl. Everyday she does something to make us laugh. She is just always on the go as well. As soon as she figured out how to walk its been non stop ever since. And attitude my god does she ever. She has given Josh the evil eye as in your not going to stop me. It took us both back thats for sure. And she will scream at you if you get in her way. But we are working on that and slowly she is starting to understand that some things she just can't have. Sure is a lot of work thats for sure all the redirection. And we can't forget about the tantrums when she don't get her way. Very strong willed thats for sure. But she is great and just a real joy. She also loves her food. If she isn't done she will let you know if you try to take away her plate or if she gets a taste of what you are eating and its all gone and she wants more its a huge issue. She had her 1 yr checkup and she weighed in at 21 lbs and 30 inches long. She is a very healthy little girl. We also got her pictures done. Um can we say disaster. She did not want to sit still at all and just wanted to run around the studio. Yeah that was real fun so we didn't get very many shots because then she decided she was done and wasn't going to do anymore pictures. We couldn't get her to smile either. Stubborn I tell ya..lol

Lets see pregnancy wise I am nearing the end. Thank god. Only about a month and few days to go give or take. I can't believe next month I will have a 13.5 month old and a newborn. CRAZY. But I am getting anxious in meeting the little guy.

As far as everything else its pretty much the same old same old. Yeah we are real exciting people I tell ya..lol Josh is waiting on his promotion. There was a mix up so dealing with that and I have stepped outside of my box and joined a playgroup from meetup.com Its very hard for me to do that but so far I have enjoyed myself at least Rosie gets the interaction with other kids.

Well not a whole lot has really happened and not much really going on so I am gonna hop off here.

We are all moved into our place. We live on post and while the house is small in some areas its also nice so it helps. I could use a bigger kitchen. I often look at the way places are set up and think what were they thinking when they built this place. But oh well as long as I am not buying a house I can live for the most part anywhere and not be all that picky..lol

Lets see we have been here 18 days so far and still trying to get used to it. It does rain a lot and while not all day long it still kinda sucks. We also haven't really ventured out much yet either. I feel very overwhelmed by everything and not sure why. But I am also excited to be here because of the stuff to do around here. Hopefully we will get to do some stuff soon. Outside of getting all unpacked and everything all settled. there really isn't much new. Josh is at his unit now so we shall see how that all goes. But I better run since I don't really have much to say anyways..lol

Days 13-15

Finally going to be all caught up..lol

Day 13: A band or artist that has gotten me through some rough days.
Phil Joel from the Newsboys has always been my go to artist when I just need to cry and take a look at what is going on in my life. He has a song called Fragile. Josh's mom played that song for Josh and I one night in her truck while we were going through our first hard moment in our relationship. The song spoke a lot of volume to me and has helped me in a lot of ways. Actually his whole album has just really helped me and gotten me through some rough times.

Day 14: A Hero that has let me down.
I don't have heros that really a have let me down. I am lucky in that area. But then I never really looked up to people in that sense either.

Day 15: Someone or Something I can't live without
Way to easy to answer this one hands down it would be Josh. We have been together for 12 yrs in March and married for 8 years. When we hit probably one of the hardest most ugliest part of our marriage I left. At the time it was better that I did however I am so glad I came back. It was miserable and not so much because of the events going on but because even when we are mad each other we still really rely on each other and support each other even when its probably not warranted to be given at the moment. We both tested the other side of the fence and well just as people always say its not worth it.

30 Days of Truth Days 9-12

Day 9: Someone you didn't want to let go of but just drifted
Thats a hard one for me to answer. Reasons being that I believe people come and go into ones life for many different reasons. All the people that really mean something to me I still talk to may not be on a daily basis but still consider them my good friends. They are the ones that have been there through it all with me in one form or another. But I would have to say Tosha and Suzanne. We were all very good friends. Suzanne moved and we just drifted after that. Then Tosha moved back to AZ and we lost touch there. We found each other on myspace and facebook but its not the same. Tosha and I could spend days on end with each other and she truly was like a sister to me.
I know due to distances is why we drifted and so I have a fear of loosing some of my other friends the same way, because its hard for me to make friends who I actually will let in all the way. I really wish I could just move us all in one area so we could hang out..lol There are about 4 people in my life that are truly my friends and have held no judgement towards me and have been there for me. I know I don't ever want to loose their friendships just because we have drifted.

Day 10: Someone you need to let go or wish you never knew.
Hmmm thats sorta a hard one. I have a few friendships that need to be cut out but I just can't seem to do it. We are not good friends like we used to be and there has been a lot of drama involved as well as some crappy things (understatement) that I have done. The only reason why I feel its time to let go and move on is because I don't think either of us could ever truly be friends with each other again. There was a lot of hurt done and a lot was done on my part.

Day 11: Something people seem to compliment me on the most.
I would have to say my eyes for a physical feature. And I get complimented on my cooking. Outside of that I don't really receive compliments. Kinda blows come to think of it. Because even that I don't get a lot of compliments on either..lol When I lost all my weight I got a lot of compliments and that helped but I also have a hard time accepting compliments.

Day 12:Something I never get compliments on
I can't think of any that I would actually want. if that makes sense. I guess I wish Josh would notice more when I do stuff that is out of the ordinary like maybe the way I dress, cook something or something along that nature. But I am really a simple type person...lol

30 Days of Truth Days 6-8

Day 6: Something I hope I never have to do
Well that is an easy one I don't ever want to have lay Rosie to death. I think about all those who have gone through this already and I can't imagine. My heart really goes out to them. I also hope I never have to experience that knock on the door while Josh is deployed. Even though I know its possible I don't want to experience it. I also hope to never go through some of the things I have gone through in my marriage.

Day 7: Someone who has made my live worth living for.
It amazes me just how much my answers are different now having Rosie. She is one of the reasons I get up every morning. That and well the dog and Josh..lol But really its just almost impossible to imagine life with her and I see the changes she has brought into my life.

Day 8: Someone who has made your life hell or treated you like shit

Thats a hard one to be totally honest with however I will have to say Josh. We have gone through some very rough patches and there are parts in our marriage that I hope to never go through again. But to be fair I also treated him like shit. There are also a few people who I just tolerate but if I never saw or heard from them again I would be okay with that as well.

30 Days of Truth Days 2-5

Been busy so playing catch up with my 30 days of Truth

Day 2: Something You Love About Yourself.

Hmm thats a hard one. But then again its always easier to find flaws in ourselves and rarely things we enjoy about ourselves. I would have to say the one thing I love about myself is the ability to give people many chances to still be in my life. The chances do run out after awhile however I tend to always allow people another chance depending on the "crime". With that I also give people the benefit of the doubt I always try to find the good in people. Even if I am wrong about them. I guess I rather give a person support or be there for them and believe them then not believe them and be wrong. Some people have had some crazy things happen in their lives that for most would be unbelievable.

Day 3: Something I Need to Forgive Myself For

There are a few things I need to forgive myself for. And the main one is I need to forgive myself for hurting certain people in my life. I lost some good friends due to my actions in the past and have put people in a position they never should have been put in. I don't think I will ever forgive myself for those things because I feel if I do then it lessens the pain that was caused or that I might be lessening the situation. Its hard no matter what. I became a person I never thought I would become and I was just in a dark place even if on the outside it looked otherwise. Maybe in time I will be able to but not so sure. The pain I caused Josh has changed a lot of how we interact with each other and I know that my actions forever changed that part of him that I had always wanted. I believe I hurt our marriage even more then what he did.

Day 4: Something I Need to Forgive Someone For

To go with Day 3. I need to learn to forgive Josh for the things he has done to me and our marriage. Its a daily struggle because the amount of damage that had been done will always be there. The problem is that he was really becoming the husband that he should have always been and I turned around and pretty much said so what forget you. Now because I can't forgive myself over my actions I also can't forgive him for his a 100%.

With that said both for day 3 and day 4. We both have come a long ways and in some ways are better off now then before however we do still have a lot of work to go through. We have been through A LOT in the last 11 years of our relationship and have learned and grown a lot as well. So I pray that we will keep on the path of improvement and someday both of us be totally healed.

Day 5: Something I Hope to Do in My Life

The one thing I had always hope to do in my life was become a mother. That wish came true on August 27th when Rosie was born. Now I just hope to be able to see her grow and get married and hopefully see her to have kids of her own.

30 Days of Truth: Day 1

I saw this on Ashley's blog and thought why not try it myself. So here is my go at it.

Day 1: Something you hate about yourself

This is probably an easy one. For me I hate that I am very shy. I usually wait for people to make the first move in becoming friends. I have been burned in the past by people and so its just easier to keep up a wall and avoid getting hurt again. I lack some social skills in the sense of I hate small talk. I don't really care to talk about the weather or crap like that. I rather just talk and get to know a person to see if they are someone I would like to be around. Josh finds it funny that I have met almost all my closest friends online. Its easier that way for me because putting trust that the person is being honest I can get to know them before having to actually meet them and it helps avoid all that awkwardness like silence. So far I haven't been wrong about the people I have met so that is a good thing..lol
However the reason I hate this is I am sure I have probably missed out on some possible good friends. The problem with meeting people online they generally don't live in the same area as you..lol
So maybe part of my new years I will work on meeting people. Maybe having Rosie will help in that area.

New Year New Beginnings

I know I never make it in here to post on a regular basis. Oh well maybe I will actually keep up on it this year.

Anyways its a new year and hoping this year will be good. We are starting it out in Washington. How crazy now that we are actually here. Although I do have to admit I kinda miss Fort Hood. I was comfortable there, had a house and knew people and where stuff was. But hoping we get a place real soon and then I can go out and find places. They weren't kidding when they warned about traffic. It is crazy.

Our drive here was fairly good. No bad weather and Rosie did awesome. Coming up through CA was a good choice and also going another way my dad suggested to miss LA. Sure was a pretty drive however word of advice. When traveling make sure and pay attention to signs that say No Services for so many miles. Because otherwise you will get screwed in paying a lot of money at a place in the middle of no where..lol Yeah that happened to us. 4.12 a gallon. The place had a pretty rude attitude as well. Which okay great yes people may need gas, people may need to use the restroom. But they had a sign to the effect of it costs us a fortune to run a business in the middle of nowhere, don't complain, don't like it don't shop here. And to use the bathroom you must buy something. To which is just as expensive. Oh well lesson learned..lol
Really the longest part of our trip was driving through TX. Place just never ends..lol
But we made it and were very happy to just be done with driving. Now I am needing to go get a few groceries because eating out like this is killing me. Waste of money and well not exactly the greatest food.

Lets see what else. Outside of waiting for housing there really isn't a whole lot. While the housing isn't exactly worth it we are not all that picky either. We looked at a few places off post and even there it seemed like a lot of money for such a small place. The cost of living is higher so going to have to get used to that one.

Josh is in-processing in so hopefully today he will be done at a normal time so we can go get something to eat and all that besides I need to do some laundry but don't want to really drag Rosie down there with me either.
Hotel living just kinda sucks in a lot of ways..lol

Yay its Thursday!

This week has gone by super fast. And most days that would be a good thing but other times not so much. Today is one of those days. I feel(know) I have tons to do but no motivation to do any of it. I pretty much spent the day holding Rosie and playing with her. Which she trumps all that stuff anyways but I still feel guilty at times. And then this afternoon we took a nap together. Of course she is still sleeping which thank god its been longer then 20 minutes. Last night was a rough night hardly any sleep at all. She wanted to "play" or at the very least hear herself scream in a non crying way. Here is a video of her "yelling" Josh. I was going to share it the other day but forgot.

When Josh gets home I am finally going to run to the store. I really want to make bread bowls for chili tomorrow so I need to get the stuff as well as some other things. So hopefully he isn't much longer...lol

I might just stop off at Target as well and do a little shopping. My goal is to get everyones Christmas gifts done and shipped out by the second week in December. We will see if I succeed. Right now I have 4 people done.

Anyways I am gonna get off here and do something. Just another day of ramblings

Just Blahness

Last night Josh came home and he had a frame. So I asked him what was up with that and he just said here read it. So I did. His unit gave Rosie her own set of "official orders" for being born. Had things on there like temporary place of duty was the hospital and all that stuff. Really kinda cute then signed by the Commander. Then we were off to a FRG meeting. Man I wish we were around a lot longer because most people complain about the FRG its either not active enough or its boring and all that stuff. This one they always do stuff. Like last night was a chili cook off. So it is a fun way to get people to interact and all that. And upcoming they are doing a poker night as well as a self defense class as well. To bad we won't be around much longer...lol

My brother called today to let me know how much we will love it in WA he has a delivery somewhere around there and he said knowing Josh and I we will love it. So that makes it even more exciting.

So a while back a girl on one of the message boards I frequent posted about Vera Bradley bags and I pondered for a long time about them. I mean thats a lot of money for a non leather bag was my thinking. But before Rosie got here I got one and use it as a diaper bag. I love it! and am in love with VB bags. So today I ordered some more. I got one for myself and 2 are going to be Christmas presents. Can't wait to get them..lol

Other then that its been a pretty laid back day. Rosie has been on a cat nap type of day seems we do this every other day...lol

Well not much else to say so I am gonna run and make supper Josh should be home soon

College Grad, is it worth it?

Well its official I am done with school. Pretty confident I passed my class. Josh asked me how I felt about it this morning while getting ready for work and as I sat there I said "I don't know, I guess I feel glad that I accomplished something however I don't feel it is all that its cracked up to be" He said maybe things will be different if you had a job in that field. Another thought pondering question. Nope, I don't think so. See my passion has always been a nurse so when asked why I didn't just go that route instead I said well what if its not what I really want. I look at my life and a lot has changed. I enjoyed working very much when I was working but I also feel in my heart that my job is at home striving to be the best mom that I can be for Rosie and a much better wife to Josh. So here I sit I have completed school and all I feel I got out of it was tons of debt. Now I do feel semi happy to say I accomplished something just not so sure it is all cracked up to be. Either way Josh said he understood and he was proud of me either way. Which helped because it has been bothering me for a while now. But I also don't want Rosie to ever feel like she is nothing without a college degree. Sure I would like her to go to college but I don't want an emphasis on it like its the be all end all type of thing. Anyways...

Weekend Recap:
Pretty much filled up with the last touches of homework and spending time with Josh. Saturday we had a birthday party to go to and then spent the rest of the evening playing Guitar Hero 5. Sunday was Josh's birthday which as he wished was just another day. I don't really understand why he hates his birthday so much or any holiday for that matter but it bothers me. I know he truly would love if people forgot about it. So needless to say he avoided all calls that day. To him he says its just another day and nothing special. If people want to celebrate his birth then go back to that day in 82...lol But he also said for everyone else ( like me and rosie) birthday are a a big thing and he will play along. Sometimes it bothers me though that he is such a scrooge about things. So that was that Monday he was in a much happier mood and back to his normal self.

Well time is starting to feel like its closing in on me with this upcoming PCS. I just don't know what to expect nor do I know when exactly we are going to be taking off. Still waiting on his paper orders or whatever. But I would like to get things moving with at least some dates. I need to start doing what i need to prepare and make a list of things to take with and stuff like that. Overall I don't like the feeling of not being in control and leaving it all up to Josh. While I know he will take care of everything I still don't like that feeling..lol

Rosie sure is growing and becoming more and more vocal each day. She is getting that little giggle/laugh in there now and just so much fun "talking" to her. She really gets excited and makes us laugh. She also is enjoying laying on the ground an playing on her mat now. She will grab at the hanging toy and pull on it and seeing her face light up when it makes noise is just so priceless. We are getting ready to do her 3 month pictures. So I have been on the search for a dress. I will be doing a holiday themed one since Christmas is so close and since we aren't really doing Christmas I want something to remember for her book.

Well better run monkey is waking up.

Monday

We had a great weekend doing lots of nothing. Josh and I started playing Phase 10 again and anyone who has played cards (well any game for that matter) knows he hates loosing and he will do whatever it takes to win. He tells me all the time he won't cheat, and I almost always believe him but we still go through a routine of me checking him dang near strip search him for any stashed away wilds. Well a new one happened this weekend. I accused him of cheating and he started laughing at me and we went through the whole routine and I chased him into the bathroom well he locked me out. I came back and sat down and out he comes. We start playing and bam he goes out on his second turn. I didn't think anything of it. We end the game and all is good (we always have fun playing games..lol) Well later that night we have a conversation similar to this
Josh: I have a confession
Me: yeah you cheated right?
Josh: Yes how'd you know?
Me: Because you hate losing(lol) so how'd you do it?
Josh: Yeah your right, but I hid them in the bathroom. And I accidently grabbed to many cards the one time (this is where it started me accusing him) and so I had to double up on my discard hoping you wouldn't notice.

It does not matter what game we play he will find a way to win. Now we have fun still and there are certain games he don't cheat on but cards and monopoly well thats a different story..lol

I ran to the store to get diapers when I remembered I had some in the closet from my diaper cake so for about a month we won't need any more diapers. I am still struggling in finding what ones I like best. I was liking huggies but the last ones we bought seemed to leave those beads all over so I thought on to the next ones Luvs are alright but it seems to have more leaks, then we are on to pampers, so far so good however they are expensive. Target brand seems to be the winner for now but sometimes the size we need are sold out..lol so we do a lot of diaper jumping around here.

While I was out I picked up Josh's birthday gift. Now he don't like getting things or even his birthday acknowledge. But we got him Volumes 1-4 of Family Guy. I gave him to him unwrapped and said well they are not wrapped and its a week early so they are not for your birthday. I did intend to give them to him on his birthday but I suck at surprising him...lol
So between playing games and watching Family Guy we had a great weekend.

Today has been good so far, although this afternoon Rosie seems to be more on the fussy side. She finally is asleep and longer then 20 minutes even if its in my lap and I'm not moving..lol

I really should take that time and take one with her since I am exhausted myself.

This That & Another Thing

Well let see Rosie's first Halloween was great. We all dressed up but sadly didn't get a family picture. Oh well maybe next year. Anyways I wasn't going to dress her up since she is only a few months. But I found a ballerina costume at Children's Place on clearance so I thought why not. We headed over to some friends for a Halloween Party. Of course we were home and in bed by 930 but it was still a good night.

Josh reenlisted on that Friday for another 6 yrs and looks like we are heading to Ft Lewis. I am excited and nervous and even sad about all of it. I mean I knew he would be a lifer and so that don't bother me. I mean for the most part he loves his job. We are both ready for a change and happy to be leaving Texas. The sadness comes from this place has been our home for the last 5 yrs and even though I wanted to leave now that we are I think I will miss it...lol

Rosie had her 2 month baby well check yesterday and she is growing great. Happy to know she is doing good. She sure is a chunky monkey though weighing in at 13.9 lbs. Hopefully she will slow down some..lol
She got her shots yesterday and it was so hard to see her cry like that. She did good though. Kinda glad her apt was in the afternoon so then she didn't have to be miserable the whole day. After that we came home and she slept for about an hour was up for a few kinda fussy but nothing major gave her some more tylenol and she went back to sleep pretty much for the night, however she was up more then usual. But overall it wasn't to hard.

Woke up this morning and was kinda just chilling around the house. I heard a dog scratch at the back door and thought it was Diva. So I put Rosie in her swing and went to let her in, well it was the neighbors dog. Now this is the second time that dog has dug a hole and crawled under the fence into our yard. Great dog just really hyper puppy like yet. Anyways she came running into the house and was all over the place. We got her outside and decided that we were just gonna leave her there for awhile. Her and Diva played and a few minutes later they came looking for her and found her in our yard. Hopefully they do something with her and the digging because if Josh isn't here and she does it she will be staying in the yard I won't be able to get her over there..lol

Other then that nothing else is going on in our world. Same old same old so I am out for now.

Wow Time Flies

Its been a while...ha I do that a lot say I am going to be better about blogging and then don't do it. I am hoping to stay on top of it now. Lets see where to begin. Can't believe Rosie is already 6 weeks old. It has gone by so fast. But loving every moment of being a mom, even the nights where she decides she isn't going to sleep..lol

Rosie is smiling more and more each day and it is just so fun to see her smiling and looking happy. Being a mom is everything I expected it to be and then some. I am thankful every day looking at her and knowing she is really here.

Rosie had her first road trip to MN at 3 weeks old and wow that was fun. It was my mom, her two dogs, Rosie, me and Diva in her pickup. Now its nice that it was a crew cab but Diva is not a small dog so she took up a lot of room and she didn't have much to begin with..lol My knee gave out on me on the way (really need to get that taken care of) and so I pretty much was stuck to the vehicle..lol Rosie traveled very well. She slept pretty much the whole way and when we stopped she ate and enjoyed her time out of the car seat.
While we were there she got to meet a lot of her family members. But most of all she got to spend time with her Grandma and Grandpa. She sure loved her bath time with Grandma and chilling with Grandpa. It was hard to say goodbye. I never really imagined it being that hard but it was hard to say goodbye knowing it would be a long time till they saw Rosie again. I hope even with the distance they will have the bond that I remember having with my Grandma and Poppie.

Outside of that her first 6 weeks have been pretty normal...lol

I am half way through my classes and hard to believe in 4 weeks I will be done and have my degree. Which means in 4 weeks its Josh's bday. No clue what to get him either..lol
Which also brings on reenlistment time. His window has opened up and we are hoping he can reenlist to not go to Korea, he is in a fenced in unit and the thing is to go he would need to reenlist anyways and well we just don't want that to happen. We know there is a chance he can deploy but its one we are willing to take to get out of TX. So hoping to finally hear back what his options are as well as possible places to go. We kinda want FT Lewis, WA so hoping that is a possibility.

Happy Due Date Me

Well today is my due date and as of now no real sign of Rosie making her appearance..lol However I did wake up around 3 with contractions that felt way different then the braxton hicks ones I have been dealing with. It felt weird but yet I was also somewhat excited thinking okay maybe..lol Well its now 9am and I haven't felt one in an hour so back to the waiting game. I do have my apt today at 2 so hoping for good news. My mom thinks I will have her tomorrow and Josh says this weekend. So we shall see. I gave up on the guessing game..lol

So as I was laying down this morning trying to get comfortable I thought to myself pregnancy really is a dramatic event for woman...lol I mean we deal with BH, then on to the real but false contractions and its a never ending cycle. When Josh got up he asked what I was doing and I was reluctant to tell him cause I didn't want him to get his hopes up..lol but I couldn't not tell him.

Outside of my apt I don't have much planned maybe go walk the mall or something. I know she will come when she is ready but come on it can't help to to at least think I am helping the process, Right?

Figure I will be booking my newborn session as well today. Then I have to go and figure out some nice decent clothes for Josh and I to wear since we will have a few family shots as well. Thinking will do something simple like a black shirt for Josh and a hot pink for me or something. I don't know. Never really thought about it before. Anyways don't have much to add and am just rambling anyways.

Wow its been awhile

I was doing so good at posting and then bam real life set in and all sorts of crazy busy stuff was going on.
A run down of the last few months. I started new classes in June which end tomorrow WHOO HOO. Then I am done till Septemeber.

June was pretty eventful we finally made the jump to move off post. So the last week in June was busy packing and moving. I like it here but at times miss the convenience of living on post. However we needed a bigger place even though its only a 2bedroom we have extra space by having a garage and an attic.

July was also an eventful month. One of my closes friends and someone who I am forever thankful to have met Ashley came to Texas for a visit. And while she was here she surprised me with a baby shower. I can't even begin to express how much that meant to me. Here I thought it was just gonna be her and I going out to supper and to catch up...lol Got lots of stuff we needed and everyone took to the Monkey theme. I am so thankful to have a friend like her.

Also in July my mom, grandma and cousin came down for a short visit. They brought down some baby clothes and other things they bought as well as the toy box my Poppie made before he passed away. It was a nice visit and while I was crabby I was glad to have them here. My mom also bought Rosie's dresser and so Josh and Mitch put that together and now Rosie's room is almost complete. All the big stuff is done now its just the little odds and ends of things that can wait and no real rush..lol The more I think about it though I want to buy a diaper changing pad to put on the top of the dresser since I have a feeling I will actually use it.

Now on to August. This is it this is the big month. I can't believe its here already. Where has the time gone. I mean really. It has just flown on by. I am due August 24th and as of Friday's apt I am dilated to a 3 and effaced(sp) at 50% so anytime now or my luck she will not want to come out...lol I am ready though, well mixed with being scared, nervous and well just all sorts of emotions. Either way its gonna happen and I can't wait to meet our little girl. I am hoping she does decide to come next week though maybe Tuesday or Wednesday would be nice. I am more then ready to be done with being pregnant.

So while not a whole lot of stuff has gone on, its a lot more then I am used too..lol Hopefully I will be better about updating.

We are off to try out Old Chicago tonight for supper since they just opened here in Killeen. Well that is if Josh will ever get off his butt and get dressed. Its been a video game day for him.

Its My Birthday!

Haven't been on here in a good minute. My bad. Not that I have been busy or anything I mean really day usually consists of getting up working on homework and take a nap...lol Yup that is normally my day. Can't complain though going to enjoy the ability to be lazy while I can.

Last week my brother was passing through and he stopped. It was so good to see him but man there is no places to really park a truck around here. The truck stops in temple are kinda small and not many around here. But anyways was good to see him. We went out to eat and then to Target and then I dropped him off back at his truck. He said he never wants to come back to Texas as a truck driver again the roads are all messed up. I tend to agree..lol

Well Josh got home on Friday from the field and at a decent time at that. So that was nice. He was dirty and tired and never fails he always comes back with chigger bites. So he took a shower we went got his haircut and came home. He watched a few shows I recorded and we went to bed fairly early. Saturday was a lazy day but we went out to eat to Texas Roadhouse and then to Target to get a few items. I finally made my blackberry cobbler from none the other Pioneer Woman and well it didn't look like hers it was soo good. It was one of those every time you walk by you take a bite..lol So yeah I ate half the pie pan myself. Hell who am I kidding I ate almost the whole dam thing. I was enjoying it for dessert last night and Josh goes dam I only had a few bites so I gave him the rest. But is something I will make again but I think I will also try a different fruit next time as well. Either way we both gave it 2 thumbs up. And it was so easy and not to sweet either.

Sunday we cleaned. Josh was watching tv about 2 weeks ago and saw an infomercial for the Shark Steam Cleaner so we are now proud owners..LOL He cleaned the kitchen and well I can't complain because it gets him away from relying on that dam lysol so much. So I can say another good purchase. Now if only I can get him to use the steam mop I bought..lol
Worked on my algebra yay only 2 more weeks but then on to algebra 2..lol Oh well the sooner I can get it done the better. I am hoping i do pass though because so far I have failed every test. OUCH..lol

Today is also my birthday. And I am so sick of people telling me 2 more years you will be 30. Great you can add..lol Really its not so bad but still annoying none the less.

Friday Madness

YAY for the weekend. My weekend shouldn't be to busy I don't think. I have two homework assignments due today and then of course my normal participation and then Sunday an assignment which is a algebra test. Half way done with the class..lol

Today is Military Spouse Appreciation Day as well as Mother's Day on Sunday. I so need to get stuff ordered for Mother's Day.

So I never updated but Wednesday evening just kinda sucked. Josh didn't get home till 445 Thursday morning and went back to work at 1100. Now I adjust no problem to him not being here however when its over something like it was I don't deal well not like OMG he isn't here type thing but its like this is just bull shit type thing. But he did get home a bit earlier then his normal time yesterday which was around 515pm..lol Even though it was Thursday and they should have been released around 300pm..lol oh well. We had a decent night. Then I decided I wanted Rice Pudding. Now Ashley has been posting some recipes on her blog from Tasty Kitchen and so I had to take a look around and try one out. It is delish. I doubled it and added more rice then what is called for but still turned out and was a hit with Josh only thing I wish I would have had on hand was raisins. Now as I was making it I had the hardest time on figuring out the simplest measurements in my doubling process. Josh just laughed at me but I will just chalk it up to pregnancy brain..lol

I also have to thank Ashley for reminding me about etsy..lol because I am finding tons of stuff that I want. I did find some decorations for Rosie's room that will go fairly well with the bedding we got.

Which last night Josh decided to let me in on a secret that he isn't so sure about the name we have chosen. However he hasn't given me any other possible name as a suggestion so till then the name is staying. When we talked about it last night he said well she will get teased. Well I personally think no matter what kids will at some point get teased no matter the name they have. And the name has special meaning to me so for me while it is up for discussion it really isn't either at the same time. He did say last night before going to sleep that the name is fine and we will stick with it. I just hope he doesn't change his mind..lol Because I do want to head to Hobby Lobby to pick up the letter for her name and start making them.

Well I better get off here and start my homework so I can be done at a decent time.

Enchilada Recipe

Enchiladas

Ingredients;
2lbs hamburger
Onion
24 oz Tomato Paste
Chili Powder
Ground Cumin
Garlic Minced or Fresh
Dried Red Peppers (optional)
1 can of Rotel (optional)
Corn Tortillas or Flour
Corn Flakes
4 cups of Shredded Cheese

There are two ways to make the sauce. One with the Rotel and one without. If you use the Rotel use less water when making the sauce. I also just add the spices I don't actually measure the amount. I keep adding till I get the taste I want..lol

Sauce:
In a Sauce Pan empty the tomato paste
add the Rotel (liquid and all)
add water. I eye mine because I don't like it soupy looking but roughly 1 can of water to 1 1/2 cans if not using rotel.
chili powder
garlic
cumin powder
crushed chili peppers (optional)
Simmer over medium heat.

Filling:
Brown hamburger and onion
drain
add to large bowl
add 2 cups crushed corn flakes
2 cups cheese
add sauce
stir together
if it looks soupy add more corn flakes

If using Corn Tortillas:
In small fry pan heat up some oil and add chili powder
fry the tortilla for about 10 seconds each side
blot dry

Preheat Oven 350

Fill each tortilla with the filling
roll up and place in cake pan seam side down
Should make about 12-18 depending on how full you make them
take the rest of the topping and spread on top
cook in the oven for about 15 minutes
top with cheese the last 5 minutes

Add black olives or whatever else you want on top and serve.

Man I wish I could have a margarita today, ah who am I kidding I would love to have a drink at any point..lol
I was going to make a virgin one but forgot to buy the stuff for it. Tonights menu is enchiladas. I was going to do some spanish rice but decided to skip it since I am the only one who pretty much eats it.

So yesterday in our hometown area there was an abduction of a 14 yr old girl. The schools were on lock down and all that. Its sad and scary because if you know where Josh and I grew up stuff like that just doesn't happen. I am glad the girl is okay with minor injuries. She jumped out of his moving vehicle and was found about 10 miles from Fairfax. I know its a false sense of security by living in a small town but that is one of the good things that does come from a small town you can let your kids play and not worry. But yesterday proved to be different. They haven't released the guys name yet but from word of mouth as to who it was both Josh and I were shocked. So waiting on the official release just because well I know how rumors can start.

I finally bought the bedding for Rosie. I am not sure what it is but I have always liked monkeys and even more so now. So this is the set I got. I got the whole collection and can't wait till it gets here.
Now we just need to buy the mattress and the crib part is done...lol
I am still on the look out for the perfect homecoming outfit as well and I see tons I like but then I think no its not practical. I mean its going to be August and Texas heat all in one. So yeah just not sure what way to go. I seen a few things at Children's Palace that I liked but nothing that has jumped out at me yet either..lol

I think I have it narrowed down to when I will be going back to MN but still debating on that as well. But as of now I am thinking June 10th and staying for a week. Just so much going on around home with graduations, weddings and stuff I just am not sure. But from the looks of it that seems like a good time and nothing going on for many people.

Only downside is getting back home. More so if they decide to throw a baby shower for me. Everyone says don't buy anything but come one people I cannot not buy stuff..lol If I go up there then yeah no problem but if I don't and wait on people to send stuff I will panic because thats just how I am...lol

Well I am off here gonna finish up my homework while I wait on Josh to get home. I hate how he is always working so late.

Tuesday's Crabbiness

Today just has not been a very good day for me. I am not sure what the hell my problem is but I am just annoyed by everything and everyone. Doesn't help that Diva appears to be not feeling well. She has been having to go to out in the middle of the night and well last night I didn't wake up to her whining so she went by the door. glad she didn't go on the rug but still was not how I wanted to start my day.

Josh came home for a short lunch and his bright idea was take me back to work go put gas in the car and get him smokes and make a trip to Target. I didn't want to leave today at all. And how is it my job to put gas in the car when I am not the one driving it? I did go to Target to get the price adjustment on our crib we bought. It went on sale this week in the ad by 60.00 so that was a nice bonus today but they tried telling me they can't do it without the receipt. Even though they were able to pull up my receipt. Just annoyed me that they didn't really want to do it. Then they were going to tell me I was over the time limit. Um Target policy is 14 days I made it in what 10 days. So yeah I wanted my price adjustment. And since I worked Customer Service a few times at target I knew that I didn't need my actual receipt like they were telling me. Hate people like that who just don't want to do the work.

Waiting on Josh to call me so I can go get him but it really makes it hard to make supper then since I don't like leaving the oven on or stuff cooking on the stove so not sure now what I will make for supper. I am thinking pizza but its to hot for that. Maybe I will do BLTs well minus the tomatoes. I don't know just all around a shitty feeling day that I don't even really know what I want to make for supper and I am sure Josh will get home and be super hungry.

On another note Target has the bedding I really want available online so I am thinking about getting that plus its on sale can't go wrong with that. So I will probably go ahead and buy it along with the mattress that we yet need.

In my one class that we are in week 4 and I am sucking so bad in Algebra..YUCK I am getting a 60% man I hope I can pass this class, but my other one I am holding strong at 100% so that is good.

Well just rambling so I am off to see what to actually make for supper now.

Weekend Recovery

Well Friday was the day of the Ball. The day started out like any other normal day, but we had a Family BBQ at Josh's company area. Now normally when they do stuff like this it is at a park or something however this time they did it at the company area. No big deal really just no place to sit, no place to really do much of anything. It started to rain so everyone was suppose to cram into this little section of the building. Yeah not my idea of fun..lol We sat in the car and eventually left. Well I took off to go get some jewelry, my hair done and my nails and Josh was going to take a nap. I am in the middle of getting my nails done when he calls me and says come get me they need me back at the company. Yeah not happening. Finally get home after all that jazz and I am exhausted I needed a nap. Josh was able to get a nice long nap in while I took about a half hour nap. We get ready and never fails Josh always looses something he needs at the last minute so we are looking for it luckily it didn't take long but man that is one thing that just gets on my nerves..lol We are heading out the door and Diva decides she wants to come with so she bolts out the door and is standing by the car waiting. At least she doesn't run off..lol But we get her back in the house and finally are heading to Temple. We get a little bit down the road outside of the housing area and we forgot the tickets. So yeah we have turn around to get them..lol At this time we are just gonna make it in time for when he is suppose to be there. Yeah right. Now traffic around here has always sucked but with no major Division deployed at the moment it is A LOT WORSE. It took us dam near 40 minutes to get off post and it wasn't even 5:00 yet. Now anybody who knows where we live knows it shouldn't take all that long..lol It is just crazy.

Now we finally get to the Ball and yeah some of the stuff people wear. I am not always one to fall into the "cookie cutter" appearance of what is proper and what not but when it comes to things like this I do try my best to look at least semi appropriate. Now from my understanding Military Balls should be tea length or floor length dresses. I mean at the last Ball we went to everyone was in at least the proper length. This one we had lots of short dresses and overly promish type dresses. And of course you can't forget the ones that look like hoochie mamas. But at least they make good conversation pieces..lol Overall it was a good time. Of course you mix alcohol in with it and then there is bound to be some drama as well. We finally left as my back was killing me. I ended up having to wear my heels since I couldn't find my "nicer" flip flops..lol so my feet were also swollen. By the time we got home we both hit out pillows and were out...lol Here is a pic from the ball.

Saturday we didn't do much finally ended up going grocery shopping and then afterwards we went bowling. Yeah I really have lost my groove in bowling. I can't stand the lanes for one they are too oily for my liking but you would think after a game I would be able to find my knack. Yeah not a chance. I didn't even break 100 either game..lol So sad when I had an average of 148. We came home and played Wii for awhile. Then off to bed.

4am came around Sunday morning and I was wide awake. Rosie decided it was a good time to use my bladder as a punching bag. Finally tired enough to go back to sleep a few hours later and Josh is ready to get up. We didn't do much of anything Sunday. Josh cleaned and I pretty much laid around. I wasn't feeling good.

So overall was a good weekend.

Today same old same old. Working on laundry and tonight for supper I am making crockpot lasagna. Now I have never in my life made lasagna before I just always bought it so I hope it turns out. Josh said it smelled good as I was preparing it and it does look like it will taste good so we shall see. I am also gonna make some french cheese bread as well to go along with it.

I think I am gonna take a nap this afternoon and catch up on my shows on the dvr.

Thursday Madness

Was going to blog yesterday but I just didn't have it in me. Josh was suppose to have to work for 24 hours but somewhere that had changed. But with that in mind I had the car so I could go get a manicure and pedicure along with my eye brows waxed. I go to the same place and have for pretty much the last year or so. Well this time I got stuck with some real tool. I swear he had no idea what the hell he was doing. So I skipped out on my manicure because well I was done. I let him do my eye brows and yeah he screwed them up. I don't like mine real thin. But like some shape to them and thinner then normal. You are able to see where the hair was growing in so he already had a form to go by, well dumbass decided to do them his own way. Yeah was not happy at all.

After that I headed to the mall to find a dress. No luck there either. They were either to promish looking or to slutty looking or just down right didn't fit..lol My boobs have exploded so when I did find a dress it wouldn't have worked because my boobs would have been busting out and well I don't want to be "that girl"..lol. So today I am heading to David's Bridal. I know I will score at least something there.

So after no luck in the dress department I say screw it and head home but not till I stop at Motherhood and buy some tank tops. I am tired and cranky and just want to go home by this point. Actaully I really just wanted to cry. I stop off at subway get my sub and while in there witness an interesting scene. An older couple come in behind me, they are asked how they can be helped and they asked about the 5.00 subs. Well they must have had a promo going on before that all the subs were 5.00 because now the normal ones are back to just being 5.00. The man flipped out. Funny thing is they had his sub for 5.00...lol His poor wife was getting yelled at all the way to the car. I felt bad for her. He was a real asshat. So I get my sub and head home. As I am coming through the gate I get pulled in for a random inspection. Really why me. Its more of an annoyance then anything and I really just did want to get home. Finally get home eat some of my sub and think about taking a nap but yeah that didn't happen. Josh calls me and says come get me. So I head to go get him to find out he now doesn't have to pull a 24hr shift and is home for the night. Well hell I felt bad because I didn't have supper made for him. Oh well he ate up the left overs.

Hoping he actually gets off today at a decent time. Suppose to be 3 so I am hoping that actually happens so I can take off and head to Waco kinda hoping I can get him to come with..lol but I doubt it.

I have some homework I have to get done yet today and should get tomorrows done as well since I am sure that will be a busy day as well.

Tuesday's Gone

Not a whole lot has been going on. Josh is back to work, and last night he didn't get home till almost 7:30 I think it was. Then today he didn't come home for lunch. Which is okay because I was able to sneak in my nap today..lol Last night I was wanting to talk and he was wanting me to shut up and go to sleep. He was being nice about it but finally he said, listen go to sleep and do not take any naps tomorrow so you can see what I deal with. Ha yeah right. He forgets I have been in his shoes before with working and being tired. I used to do back to back shifts that nursing home and go on little sleep on days. But I did finally let him go to sleep then when he came in this morning from PT he had to wake me up again..lol he said as he walked out the door "remember no naps" Not sure what time he will get home tonight.

Hoping he will get home soon though because I am hungry. I tried making Mexican Chicken which I got from Ashley's blog here. So hoping Josh likes it. I know it smells pretty dam good and I can't wait to try it. Still not sure if I will shred it up yet or if I will leave it whole and make rice to go with it.
Tomorrow I am heading off to the mall to get my nails and a pedi done and my eye brows are in serious need of attention as well. Have to stop off and get a few items as well from Motherhood that I don't feel like buying online.

Doesn't look there is block leave in July like we thought so who knows now how that will all work. We were going to go up to MN, I was gonna have my shower, Josh was gonna work on his pickup, and I was going to clean out the closet of our stuff that we have. But looks like in June I may fly up there and he can deal with his pickup another time.

We have officially decided on a name for our baby girl. Rosie Jo. Rosie is after my great grandma who I was very close to and Jo is short for Josh's great grandma. Its different and I know of one way she will possibly get teased but oh well hopefully she will love her name as much as I do. Still looking at bedding. There are few sets that I like. And one I keep looking at since price wise it works for me.
Here is the first choice second choice and I really love this one and on a monkey kick. But its unavailable and finally this one. So not sure. Cost wise the first one is in the winning. however I just am not sure what way I want to go...lol

Friday we have the ball and for some reason they are having it in Temple. But beforehand they are having a Family BBQ from 10-12 in the motorpool and social hour for the ball starts at 5:00. I am deciding if I want to go and get my hair done or just do it myself. More then likely I will just end up doing my self but still thinking on that one..lol

I have some homework to finish up for today but just not feeling it. I really really hate algebra. I wish I could wake up and it would be August already because that is when I would be done with it..lol I have it back to back which sucks. I wish they offered other math classes then just those two.

Today was the Day

I tell ya what it is just cruel how you need to have a full bladder to go in for the ultra sound and they wash their hands in the same room. I was doing fine with having to hold it, but at that point I really thought I was gonna loose it..lol

Well after many shots and being told everything looks fine we were told we are having a GIRL!!! I never felt one way or the other till this morning but I finally was thinking yeah we are gonna have a girl. She was a stubborn little one too not wanting to show. But finally after being turned onto my side and my head pointed more towards the ground she moved her feet.

The crib we bought is this one. I really like it and soon we will be picking out the bedding. I also do want to see what I need to do to get a 3D UltraSound. Which I see they having a special so thats always good...LOL

Anyways I think I am off to bed been a long day and I am ready to catch some ZZZs

Been a bit

Last Tuesday I flew out to Philly to see Josh, just to turn right around and head back to Texas..lol but it was a nice little trip. We didn't stop anywhere fun just really actually wanted to get home. We stayed at a cute little hole in the wall motel in Virgina. Was kinda funny to see a room with two beds one a double and the other a twin..lol
We so can not sleep in a double together..lol I was ready to go sleep in the twin at one point. The next night we stayed in Memphis, TN and I wanted to stay somewhere decent so the Hilton it was. Wouldn't ya know it a bed that felt like about double..lol but much more comfortable...lol We then made it home around 7pm Thursday night and Friday we went and picked up Diva. She was so happy to see us but this time she did so much better in the kennel. They were able to get her out this time..lol

Outside of that nothing has been really going on. Josh finally got to see and feel the baby move. Then this thursday we finally hopefully get to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. I did find some cute sleepers the other day at Kohls and hoping we find out what we are having so I can go back and go shopping..lol

Well I suppose I better run nothing much really to report.

Happy Hump Day

Well first thing is first. I have been feeling the baby move more and more and a lot more noticeable however last night as I was laying in bed watching the Ultimate Cake Off and semi reading my book I actually saw the baby move. Now that was so cool feeling and yet kinda weird...lol Was an active little thing last night I just sat there in a daze just watching. I so wish Josh was home to see it. So that was my excitement for the night. Can't wait for him to call today so I can share it with him. We have 15 days yet to go till we find out the sex. I am getting more and more anxious as I want to know. I kinda feel bad to that I don't feel one way or the other when it comes to the sex.

Well today makes day 3 of this whole fence business. I am hoping they finish today for numerous reasons. Big one being I am sick of having to keep my dog inside when she clearly wants to be outside. I am sick of listening to her bark when they are actually here. But their whole method in doing this fence is just well messed up. On our whole block there are 6 duplexes making 12 yards. Not all of us had fences put in already. However I believe majority of us have. Day 1 they took out the neighbors fence and half of ours. Never returned. They put poles in the other yards around me that had no fences. Day 2 they took out the rest of our fence and put poles up. Never returned. So today being day 3 I am hoping they get the fence actually up and be done with it. Now in my head it would be more productive since we were told this would not be a huge inconvience to us with pets, would be to tear down the fences in place and put the new ones up right away rather then this skipping all over the place. On top of that actually work rather then stand around talking about nothing. I don't care that we are not paying for it, but at this rate I rather still be paying for my fence every month.

Outside of finishing up my one final I don't have to much planned today. I am still feeling sick so more then likely I will take a few naps..lol but other then that not much. I do have to finish up laundry and clean the house before Monday, but this is me so more then likely I will do it all this weekend.
Which yay Army Wives starts back up on Sunday. Plus Deadliest Catch starts back up on Tuesday as well. Gonna be hard watching knowing that Capt Phil has passed away. He was one of my favs on the show. Hell I liked all of the captains...lol.

Easter Peeps

Oh how I miss my peeps. The one easter candy that I have always loved..lol But since it was just me this year I didn't do a thing but made myself a cheeseburger...lol Figured out in the last 5 yrs Josh has been in the Army we have spent one Easter together. Crazyness, out of those 5 Easters this is the only year he hasn't gotten a basket...lol On a side note I can't wait to finally start some Easter traditions when our little one is bigger. Found out how I grew up doing Easter is different then how Josh did Easter when it came to the baskets. I recall having a basket having to find with all my goodies in there. Josh said they got their baskets and had to go find the eggs. I think we will do a combo of the both as well as the Easter Bunny. Something he didn't do. And some discussions we have had many arguments over. Thankfully he has come around and has started to see things my way..lol

Was a pretty decent weekend though but ready for Monday and the rest of the week to be here and go by hopefully fast. Because next week Tuesday I am flying out to finally see Josh. I can't wait and am just ready for him to be home. Miss him like crazy and I am also curious to see what he bought me.

On the baby front.
I am feeling the baby move more and more and the kicks/movements are more noticeable and bit stronger. Feels pretty cool and really just is like WOW. Started looking at cribs online so when Josh gets home we are going to be going shopping to start getting the bigger items that we need so we are not rushing at the last minute. Something I so can see happening.

Well I am off to bed I think. Tired and not feeling well and need some much needed sleep.

Goodbye Ruby Tuesday Hello Wednesday's Week

I am happy to say its Wednesday although I am feeling like it should be the weekend already..lol Slowly working on homework and well just kinda not feeling it today but its ok one more week and I am done with these classes I can't wait. Talked to my academic counselor today and I have 6 classes left to take and then I am done with my degree. WHOO HOO. I would have my diploma mid Oct however with the baby coming in August I am taking a month almost a month off so that will push me back. But thats okay. I need the break for one and well that will be a huge adjustment time. But I really can't wait to be done with school.

Tomorrow we are getting our fence putting in. YAY one less bill a month to worry about. They are making our yard bigger as well so that won't be to bad but when I have to do the mowing yeah I am not all that excited about it...LOL I had to mow our yard today so they didn't have a jungle to work in tomorrow and let me tell you I hate our yard. They gave us the sod last year and you would think it would grow all nice. Um no now we have even more weeds those prickly one and they are tall and it grows in patches. So I go out there to use the lawn mower and yup won't start. I hate that lawnmower. Its about a year old and the dam thing is a piece of shit. So yup to get our lawn done so we don't get written up either I was out there using the weed whacker. Oh so fun and then it spits crap all over so even after a shower I still feel all itchy.
So I am thinking we need to add a new one to our list. I know Josh can get it started but really if he is in the field or wherever I do not want to be fighting with the dam thing.

On a lighter note someone should inform the fence rental place some proper phone etiquette. I called to make our last payment and while she is taking my information and running my card through in the background very loudly I hear the other workers complaining about what they have to do mixed in with a few fuck this fuck that , she's a bitch and so on. Then I hear the lady I was talking to start yelling at them in Spanish.

Baby was very active last night. I can't wait though to start feeling more noticeable kicks and movement. But I am able to start picking up on it a bit better each time it happens. He is a night owl for sure..lol

I am in need of some summer clothes and so after online window shopping I think today I will finally purchase some items today. But its just so hard making that purchase...lol

Just another Manic Monday

Survived the weekend. I don't know what it is about weekends that are so boring when alone. They just seem to drag on forever. But after a meltdown yet again, man these pregnancy hormones really do suck. I was crying for no reason. I mean I honestly had no reason to cry and no idea why I was crying. But Josh came out on top by surprising me with some gorgeous flowers and a cute teddy bear. It was a wonderful surprise to start my day. Not only did I get a really cute and soft teddy bear but he got me my favorite flower as well. Star Gazing Lilies. I am not sure why they are my favorite but I had fell in love with them the first time I saw had seen them when I ordered my prom bouquet many years ago..lol

I am in week 8 of my classes YAY I am so happy to be almost done with this classes. And start some fresh new ones, however I know those will be not so fun classes as well. World Literature and Algebra. So not looking forward to those but oh well I can do them for 9 weeks...lol I am counting down the days till I can take a break from class sadly it won't be till the end of summer when the baby gets here. But oh well. I almost done with my degree anyways so I can push through it and finish.

Today I am working on laundry and starting to work on finals my research and stuff like that. Tomorrow I should get my new cell phone. I broke mine Saturday night which sucks. But had insurance on it so that was good. I just hate having to send in a broken phone to someplace without being able to clean out my phone. Oh well good thing there wasn't anything "bad" on there.

I am enjoying the nicer weather and so that means I really need to get my butt in gear and do some shopping for some shorts and capris and some cute tops. Down side to spring is having to mow the yard..lol At least Josh should be home for all that this year. So he can deal with it.

Well I have rambled enough about nothing so I am outta here.

Hmm its Tuesday

Yeah I suck I at keeping this updated but what can I say, I have so much that goes on around me or I forget..lol

Anyways Josh is still gone to ALC we have little less then a month to go and I will be flying out to see him then we are going to spend a day in Philly to see the Liberty Bell and stuff like that. Yeah I love history...lol such a dork I know. Then we will make our way up to NYC for a day or two then make our way down to DC for a day then start our trek home. Its our pre baby vacation. Shoot its the only vacation we have ever really took in the course of our 11 yrs together...LOL

On the baby front. I am 17 week and few days. I can't believe it still is real...LOL but its been a pretty easy pregnancy thus far. Had some morning sickness but not to bad. The only complaint I have really have is being so tired all the time. We are both pretty excited and I have started to feel the baby move. Not a lot of movement I really have to sit there a while before I notice. But its a pretty neat feeling. April 22nd we go in to find the sex. So then the shopping will begin..lol I honestly don't feel one way or the other on the sex. Wish I felt something but then I guess its a good thing so I am not "disappointed"...lol

We have our names picked out and still on the look out for a middle name for the girl just not sure which way we will go. If we will pick a family name or not.

On the school front I am almost done with these two classes then I start up another two. I will be glad to be done with school I am getting burnt out. But I will be taking a break in August when the baby is born for a few weeks then I should be able to graduate in Jan/Feb if all goes as planned.

Well that its. Nothing to exciting and nothing really but rambling...lol

After 7 years of on and off TTC we have finally been blessed. I just found out so its still very early but we are both so very excited. I took a HTP yesterday and was just shocked at the results. I really was expecting a negative but had to test to be sure. I went to the dr today to have it confirmed and have my first OB apt on Jan 5th.

I called and told my parents who are just ecstatic and just in as much shock as we are. I mean we have wanted this for so long and now that its happened its very surreal. I am worried about miscarrying but at the same time I am praying that God won't put me through that. For once in my life my body will be normal and act normal.

Then there is a part of me that I feel bad for being happy because I know there are others who are struggling or recently suffered a lost. I know I know I shouldn't feel bad since we have struggled for so long.

I had signs but put them off as getting my period. And its weird because now that I know I am I am more noticing of the signs that I am experienceing..lol yeah I know weird.

Anyways I off to do some reading. I am so cold and just want to curl up under the blanket and chill.

Well lets see it has just been crazy busy around here. My enchilada shells were a huge hit, however the pics didn't turn out so well. Oh well though maybe next time...lol

Over the weekend Josh went shopping for Christmas and looks like he did good. He likes to play it down and act like its no big deal. I have him completely done now (well I think..lol) I know I can't spend any more on him or he will get bugged by it. But I have a few more items just waiting on them to come so I can wrap them.

I have a busy rest of the week with school. Then I will be able to get a nice 2 week break from class. I so very much need it.

Today I have to fit in some cleaning and prepare the chicken for tonights supper. We are having chicken pot pie one of my favorite dishes so can't wait..lol

And have I mentioned its cold! I mean its nice compared to being in MN last winter but dang this weather sucks..lol its nice then its cold. Wish mother nature would make up her mind.

Anways I have a few calls I need to make so I better run and start my day.

So much has gone on that I actually forgot about this place for awhile...lol

Not a whole lot has changed other then Josh coming home end of July and just some real life crap going on. But things are looking good and heading in the right direction. I am busy with school and have a year done already. It don't seem like its been that long but I am looking forward to a much needed break for Christmas.

We don't have much planned for Christmas other then staying in Texas just the two of us. I will make a small traditional meal for us and we will just chill around the house. I would like to go out to Blora's Nature of Lights so maybe I can drag him out there for that. I got most all my Christmas shopping done so YAY!! for that. Josh is done minus any last minute things I might see. Although I did go over our agreed limit..sssh don't tell him...lol

Josh will be starting school up again he took one class this last May. He is working towards a Criminal Justice degree. He is busy with work and soon they will be back doing field stuff and all that again after the holidays.

I gonna start a new hobby and that is taking pictures of what I make and post on here as well. Yeah I know everyone seems to do that now a days but I figured at this moment I have moved on from Paint Shop Pro so I need something new...lol I am sure I will pick that up again soon though.

Its been cold here and last week we saw a few snow flakes. I wish I was in MN enjoying the snow they are having right now...lol

Well I am off for now. Gonna start making a new recipe I found so we shall see how it turns out..lol

WOW its been forever since I have been here

Well a lot has been going on in the real world. I am back in Texas been back since Feb and it sucks. I am very lonely right now but oh well it shall pass. Been busy with school so that takes up a lot of my time for the most part.
My cousin Amber did come for spring break last week so that was fun. We had a blast. Even though the weather was shitty.

Not sure if Josh is on a 12 month or 15 month deployment yet. I wish they would just make up their minds. Its killing me because I am just ready for him to be home. But just taking it one day at a time. Somedays its just taking it a minute at a time. I am hoping its 12 but prepared for 15. I just need to get out of this rut of being depressed.

My brother plans on coming down for my birthday in May so I am looking forward to that. At least that helps seeing family and friends.

Really just babbling now...lol Cause while I am busy I am still not very busy. I need to pick up PSP again and start some doing that again. It was my way out and I haven't touched it since Dec. That is so sad. Plus I see some new tubes that I would like...lol

Its been awhile since I have been on here. But I have been so busy with just getting ready for Christmas I have almost all my shopping done. I have about 4 people left to buy for. Other then that I am done and all wrapped and under the tree or in boxes to mail out.

Well I finally got my blizzard. Today started out a nice warm day ha at 34 degrees but there was rain so we all know what that means once that temp falls freezing rain and icy roads. Winds picked up and temps have dropped to -10 below. Can't see the bank and my parents live like half a block from it...LOL I love it just wish Josh was here to enjoy it with me. Although he said thats ok I can enjoy it for the both of us...LOL He isn't much of a snow person anymore..LOL

School is going good. Last week just was crazy, I started on Monday but that morning while in the bank I collapsed/fainted. So off to the ER i went. I am fine but was kinda scary as to I have no idea why it happened. All the tests they ran came back normal. So that is a good thing but weird that out of the blue I just fell. I didn't feel dizzy or anything other then I thought I might throw up. And so after that and and getting settled into the school mode has been a bit rough...LOL My biggest is time management and finding time to not only do school work but also stuff I want like PSP. Oh well i am sure I will get it.

Well I suppose I better get back to my school work I have a small assignment due yet tonight.

I hope everyone had a good day and didn't eat to much..lol We went to my uncles for the day had a good time. Had a little turkey, stuffing and mashed potatos. And my mom made a sugar free pumpkin pie with a ginger snap crust. That was good. Since having my surgery I wasn't sure if I would be able to have a good pumpkin pie this year..lol But you couldn't even tell that it was sugar free well used splenda but still.

Not sure if I am gonna go out and fight the crowd tomorrow and go shopping may just do it online..lol Seems so much better plus I will be able to PSP as well..lol

Well I am off here but wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Made it to MN

Well it is currently 27 degrees here and yeah I am freezing my ass off...LOL I have no winter coat or really warm clothes for that matter. So yeah this week I will be hitting up a few stores..lol
We left my house at 9am stopped in OKC for a few hours and then made it to my mom and dad's around 630am this morning. Saw some snow not much but a dusting anyways..lol

The best part of the whole trip was when I got here to add you my gas reciets was surprised to see it only cost 84.00 to go from Texas to Minnesota. How awesome is that. But of course the closer we got to MN the more the price started to go up...lol Oh well still can't beat that price..lol The cheapest we filled up on was 1.49 the most expensive was 1.79.

Well I am off to bed I think..lol Diva is not adjusting yet to being here. If I go outside she is wanting to go to the car just in case I am leaving..LOL

Oh yes and my site is fixed. Now i just have to figure out why I have that nasty black "line" around my image on the enter page. Its jacked up..lol But I will deal with that later.

Sunday I changed my layout on my tutorial site and was able to load it through FTP but when trying to visit my site I can't view it. Its down or something. Very frustrating because I have a few new tutorials as well. I just renewed it as well. I guess I will have to call Sonya tomorrow to see if she knows anything about it.

I am so excited my cousin and aunt are here. They flew in to Dallas today and will be driving back to MN with me so I don't have to make the 18 hour drive myself. We played cards tonight and just had a good time.

Of course I wanted to leave here about 0445 but yeah over slept and woke up at 0500...LOL good thing I took a shower the night before because I had to leave by 0530 at the latest to get there on time. Of course I hit traffic so I was about 30 minutes late.

We will be takign off on Saturday and will get there sunday sometime. We are stopping in OKC to visit Lorie so I am excited about that and then Monday night my mom and I are going to go see Wicked I am so stoked about that. That was part of my christmas present from my parents. I read the book last summer and fell in love with it. Very good book..LOL

My day started earlier then I wanted it to but it was all good cause Josh woke me up on yahoo. We got to talk breifly and he had enough time to see me on webcam so I thats always nice. Even if I looked less then desirable you know the wild hair and all that jazz..lol

I sat and played in psp for awhile then gave a friend a ride so she could pick up a Uhaul. Came back home and to my surprise I got a call a from Josh didn't think I would have heard from him anymore today so it was nice to actually be able to talk and hear his voice. After that I headed to get my nails done and eye brow wax. Went for a fall red sparkle color. I like how they turned out...lol then headed over to walmart to get the oil changed. I swear the man couldn't have been any slower taking my infomation...lol he tried to get me to get the high miles oil change but I really don't see the point I mean as long as you do good maintence on your car no need for all that extra crap. At least I don't think so anyways..lol But man did the price for oil changes rise. I paid 43 after all said and done. 30.00 for the oil change (which went up since last time as well) last time I was there for a basic oil change was only 19.95 then they don't carry my oil filter as a stock filter so had to get one off the shelf and so that was extra. Just insane how much stuff has gone up..lol
So I walked around the store picked up a few groceries. Found some Spiced Apple Cinammon herbal tea so got that. that stuff is so gooooooood. Came home and now I am putting off the minor cleaning I still need to do.

Oh and got a call from my school counselor all is a go on my finacial aid so officially starting tomorrow I will be an Student. WHOO HOO.
Anyways I better go finish up this last little bit of cleaning.

1. I love my husband Josh, No matter what we have been through he has always been there for me. He truly is my best friend and soul mate(if you believe in that sort of thing..lol) Without him I wouldn't be where and who I am today.

I have been talking about wanting to go back for sometime now. Just never had the commintment of really wanting to go back. I always had a reason. No money, its not the right time ect. Josh has been behind me 100% and wanting me to go back as well.

Well last week I decided I wanted to go back. So I requested information from University of Phoenix and wow they replied fast. I had a phone call withing 5 minutes of submitting the request form...lol So on Friday I filled out all the forms and for finacial aid. Of course since we don't have kids Josh makes to much and so I only qualified for 100.00 in grants. But hey its still free money..LOL

Anyways I start Dec 8th and am going for Health Care Administration. My ultimate goal is to become a nurse someday. But this way with Josh being in the Army I can go to school and not worry about having to move and transfer credits since its all done online. So that is that. Can't wait to get started.

I will also be heading back to MN this coming Saturday. My aunt and cousin are flying in on Thursday and we will spend a few days here then head back to MN. I will be staying there for most if not all of winter due to different things. But am looking forward to going back.

We will get back to MN Sunday sometime as I am making a pit stop in OKC to see my girl Lorie. I am excited to see her since I haven't seen her since July..lol I love that she lives on the way back to MN because I get to see her more. Who would of thought when we first met in an MSN group that we would be as good of friends as we are now.

I am working on my site today and gonna be doing a new layout for the blog as well and update some new tutorials.

Made it to Minnesota.

I landed in my home state today at 6:25pm and it felt great to feel and smell the fall air. But as much as I loved it I am freezing my ass off...LOL at night its getting down to the 30s...lol

The plane ride was nice. And it felt great to sit in the seat and not feel to fat for the seat..LOL
I am staying with my grandma tonight and then my brother will pick me up after work tomorrow. Then I will be in Gibbon for the remainder of my trip.

Other then that not much is going on. Ejoying seeing the family and all that and really am enjoying the weather.

New Phone

I got a new phone today and I am just loving it. I was due for an upgrade even though I just got a new phone back in Jan..lol I used Josh's upgrade then cause he didn't want to use it. So I got the LG Venus in Pink. I loved that phone. But the touch screen on it has been giving me a hard time. Pretty much stalls on me all the time and can do anything because then the whole phone freezes up on me. So I debated for awhile on what phone to get. I was torn between the LG Env2 since I love LG phones. We have had the best luck with them or the Blackberry Pearl or Curve. So I went into the store and played around with the phones and walked out with the Blackberry Curve in pink. Its so pretty...LOL

I got home and had been playing with thinking man this is to complicated but alas I finally figured out at least the basics of it...LOL I at least can access myspace,facebook and my messengers so if I am out and about I can talk to Josh still and not use up all my text messages..lol which is why I went with the BB.

Went to best buy today as well to pick up a new cord for the dryer. Josh was walking me through how to install it on the phone..LOL Bless his heart. I got grabby with him. Because I was hot, trying to hold multiple things in my hand and still hold the phone to my ear. My neck was getting sore..LOL Haven't finished yet replacing the cord. to busy playing with the phone..LOL And Josh knew I didn't want to do it he made the comment "I know you want to get back to your phone"...LOL

He is sick as well so feel bad because its not like he can just call in sick. He has to be there no matter what. Hopefully in hte next few days he will be feeling better.

Getting ready for my trip home. I can't wait to enjoy some of the fall weather and just be able to sleep good..LOL

Just other Manic Monday

Just another monday. The weekend went by fairly fast. Saturday I was doing laundry and washing my bedding. Well at some point the dryer stopped working. Not sure when it did but I went to go switch the loads and had a dead dryer. At least the stuff inside was dry...LOL first thought was maybe a breaker blew but nope that wasn't it. I have a feeling the motor went out on it. We replaced little less then 2 years ago. So I am thinking well hey we have been wanting a new set so why not get one. So I start looking and man so many to choose from not that I would use even half of the bells and whistles that come on them now a days I really fell inlove with a Green set of LGs from Best Buy. And knowing I will be able to less laundry ecspecially when Josh is home hey I am all for that...LOL Now if only they had one that folds and puts the clothes away for you..LOL
I found the set I want but honestly I need one now not 2 months from now...LOL so I am gonna still save up for the set I want and see if we can fix this one temporarily. So hopefully they can get here Wednesday and fix it before Friday since that is when I leave to head back to MN for 2 weeks.
Was funny causeI woke up to Josh getting online so I told him about the dryer so he had to call me while he was on the computer had me set up the laptop with the webcam so he could look at it and walk me through on how to fix it...LOL yeah first thing waking up to and trying to fix a dryer not happening. I finally just said I will call someone and see if Sonya will let me use their dryer. So I headed over there used the dryer and had lunch with her and a nice chat.

On another note. Its been roughly 6 months since I had my surgery. And I have lost 103 pounds. The surgery was a tool that has given me a new begining to life. When I fianlly was able to get the surgery I was at my heighest weight of 258 pounds. Wow thats hard to type out. I suffered from depression, had lots of "woman" problems in wich has been preventing Josh and I from having kids. So anyways. I am 103 lighter. Feel great. I have had my regrets thinking what the hell did I do to myself ect. And anybody who thinks its the easy way out is full of shit. Yes it helps to loose the weight rapidly it is only about 20% of the puzzle. I have to do the rest of the 80%. I enjoy exercising. I just am loving the new me. I am still me and hope that I never loose "me" in this process. But also gain a new "me". I am very proud of myself for taking the step in getting the surgery. Very thankful to Josh who has been with me every step of the way and constant support. I have 5 more lbs to go to make my intial goal and then will go from there on setting a new goal.

Other then that today has just been a blah day. I talked to Josh a few times today.wich is nice. But on the same hand we have hit that point where there isn't much to talk about. or much that we can talk about. I never understood that before because its like well when he is home we talk mulitple times a day and we never run out of things to say but I guess when you are doing the same thing day in and day out you do run out of things to say. While I will never not talk to him. I sometimes just wish I had more of an interesting day to talk about...LOL Hopefully it will pas quickly cause it sure does suck.

Well I think thats enough from me. I am outta here. Gonna go watch Rock of Love: Charm school. yes a quilty pleasure of mine...he he

1. How long have you been using PSP, PS? I think it was around 02/03 somewhere in there.

2. How did you get into making tags, scrapkits? I discovered MSN groups and saw all these cool looking sig tags and I wanted to know how to do it too...lol I downloaded the free trial PSP 8 and thought yeah right I can't do this...LOL It was way to complicated for me. I gave up for awhile then got PSP7 and I learned in there. I didn't do tutorials at all as I found them to be way to complicated. So I taught myself just by trial and error and just playing around. Then I thought why not try doing tuts again so I did and thought you know what I can do this too and decided to open my own site in 2006. Thanks to Roni she is the one who helped me with my very first layout. Then I decided to join Pursue you Passionz for my hosting. And have been there since Feb 2006. I would like to learn how to do scrap kits but I just am not to sure yet. I have made papers and ribbons here and there but nothing that I thought was worthy enough to share. Maybe one day I will..LOL

3. Who`s your fave artist? Keith Garvey without a doubt. I first saw his work and just fell in love with it way before GILD and all the other license companies came around. Really though I have so many fav artist. They all are so very talented and I am just so happy they let us use their stuff.

4.Who`s your faveourite Scrap Designer? that is a tough choice. There are so many. I very much love Melissa from Sentimentel Style. Clarey from Clarey's Designz for taggers scraps. I don't really like to buy scrap kits so I stick to the free ones. But if I see one that I just love then I will buy it. Really all them are just awesome. I can't pick just one...LOL

All around those would have to be my two fav holidays anyways...LOL Plus the artists usually come out with some cute tubes. And as always I love to go shopping for tubes..LOL I also have a few new tutorials I am working on hope to get them finished up this weekend and uploaded to the site.

Its been a while

Well its Sunday, has to be the longest day of the week....LOL Luckily there is a new Desperate Housewives on tonight. I can't wait!!! Sadly though Army Wives is repeats tonight...lol Ah well.

Well not a whole lot has been going on other then I have been extremely tired and just sick feeling having cramps just suck...LOL People keep telling me to take a pregnancy test but part of me as much as I want to I don't want to. Because of the let down of it being negative. So in some ways I wish the witch would just show up. It has been close to 6 years of TTC on and off for us and seems everyone around me is pregnant and I just seem to be falling back into a dark place with it. I really am happy for them but its really hard to show it because inside I am pissed off. Not sure why I can't be normal in that aspect and be able to have kids. And saying things like it will happen when its the right time and things like that just piss me off to. Even though I know people mean well and unless they have been there not sure how to respond. So I guess if AF don't show up next week I will take a test. Since I know my mom is on pins and needles. And wants an answer already. And my chart is saying I am but since this is my first cycle charting in a long time I am not going off it. Besides my body has been so outta whack for the last 3 years that I still don't know where its at..lol

I am getting excited to be going back to MN in a few weeks to see my parents. My mom is having surgery. So I will be there to help take care of her while she heals for at least the first week. It will be a nice trip to nice cooler weather too..LOL But poor Diva she is gonna be mad at me for leaving her. She is staying with the neighbor so she will be with someone she knows and they have 3 dogs that she has played with so maybe that will help. She is just such a big baby. And with Josh always coming and going we deal with seperation anxiety big time. Its gotten worse though this last time he has been gone. Well pretty much ever since Millie died. So idk maybe getting another dog would help.

Well I think I have blabbed on enough..lol

I am back

Goodbyes suck!!!! Yesterday I had to drop Josh off so he could head back to the sandbox and play army for the next year. I was able to sit with him till he got on the plane but I left when he got in line to board. It was just easier for the both of us to say goodbye and leave then torture myself and watch the plane leave. I got home little after 7 last night. Spent an hour in Temple to move 3 fricken miles. There was an accident I didnt' see it as it was cleaned up by the time I got up there but it was upsetting I just wanted to get home and I had to pee really bad...LOL

We had a great time while he was home. Just pretty much stayed around the house and did whatever we wanted. Towards the end his mom, her fiance and his brother came down for a few days. That was fun. They brought Josh Guitar Hero 3 so they played that most of the time...lol We played a few times on the wii fit wich is awesome. I love that thing even if it made my mii fat...lol But exerciseing is now fun..lol

We also went to Dallas while they were here so Josh could go bungee jumping and other thrill rides. I will be posting pics later about all of his r&r.

Today I have to do my rounds back into the groups I belong too but also just a little blah still. When I got home last night Diva was walking around the house crying for Josh and kept hitting the door to get me to open it for her so she could see if he was coming into the house. That is when I lost it.

He did call me today to let me know he made it to Kuwait. So I was happy to hear his voice.

Well I am off of here for awhile. Got some things that i need to do and then will be back to play on the computer.

Just Checking in

Well Josh has been home since Monday for leave. What a trip it was waiting for him. I left sunday afternoon to head to up to Dallas and got a hotel room so I didn't have to get up so early in the morning. He was expected to come in at 8:00am. I met up with Jenny and we headed out to get a bite to eat and then to a movie. We saw House Bunny to me it was ok but not one I would buy...lol. Get back to the hotel and call the R&R number to see the status of Josh's flight. I find out he isn't to come in now till 10:00pm. Of course I had to call 3 more times to make sure I heard the time right....lol I then am unpacking my bag and can't find my shoes for my dress. I am freaking out...lol I mean I oly brought my dress to wear and my jammies..lol But I found them so I was ok. I didn't want to go hunt down the perfect shoes yet again..lol I was a bummed big time cause well check out was at noon and it was like ok what am I gonna do..lol So I got the room for another night. Of course it cost way more then what I paid the first night but oh well I didn't want to have to check out and try to find some place to go to waste 3 hours to check in again. At that point I am already in the very excited but yet very nervous stage of waiting on Josh to get in..lol

Hung with Jenny again and around 6 I headed back to the hotel room to relax and slowly start to get ready. Yeah didn't happen..lol By 8 I was ready to go..lol Of course though I was having issues with my dress zipper. It was busted in certain spots so zipping it up was hell. Was afraid I was gonna rip my dress at one point..lol But I got it and it was all good..lol

Jenny got to the hotel around 9ish so we headed to the airport. As we are walking in I get a text message from Josh saying they have landed. At that point I was just OMG its time..lol

We get to where we are to be and now its time to wait. The DFW USO is awesome. They have vlounteers that come to help welcome home the Troops for r&r.

By 11:00pm Josh has finally walked through the doors. Of course he was one of the last ones out..lol But the whole experience of going to Dallas is just awesome and worth the drive.

His first reaction to seeing me was WOW just wow..lol He says there are no words to describe how I look. He has seen me on webcam and thought that it would prepare him for it but from seeing me there and then in person he was amazed. Since he left I had another 30+ lbs.

Thanks to Jenny we got pictures. And I am so thankful for that. Really pictures do no justice to how good I looked in the dress..LOL. and thanks to Ashley I got a great a dress. She made me step out of my comfort zone and try something that so wasn't me...LOL I am not a dress person at all..lol But I really liked the dress...lol

Didn't sleep again last night but once I fell asleep then I actually slept till around 1130 was much needed...lol I got up did my morning rounds and then got ready to go get a manicure and pedicure. Both very much needed. I have to say they actually did my nails right. When I say short I mean short I want to be able to still do things...lol I can't believe though how some people can keep them the length the tips are and still do shit. Would drive me nuts not being able to zip up my pants or even write...lol I plan on keeping these up since I like having nails otherwise I am a bitter. No matter what its just a habbit I can't break.

After that I headed off to Target to get Josh some welcome home gifts. I got a ice bucket that I am gonna fill with a 6pack of his fav beer and some chips. Along with some grooming stuff.
I was proud of myself I didn't spend over what I wanted to...lol I went in and got just what I needed and that was it. Normally I go into Target and walk out with way more..lol

My rant for today is stupid drivers. I mean how hard is it to figure out a fricken 4 way. I swear the people down here just don't know how to drive. And I am not the worlds best driver but dammit I do know the rules. Then had a pickup dam near turn into me cause he felt he had the right away. Ah hello I was in the middle of my turn when you pulled up. Dumb ass. So yes he got a few choiced words and a pretty finger...lol

Not much planned for tonight. Swingtown is on at 9 here so I have to watch that. I fell in love with that show last weekend. I watched all episodes up to date online and now I am hooked. To only find out that it more then likely won' t be continued past this season. Unless a cable network picks it up. Which I am hoping FX or something does. I know if it goes to Showtime or another like that then it will open it up for more nudity but I am ok with only breif nudity in the show...lol

I really have to mow the yard this weekend too. I noticed it is looking pretty bad..lol

Just been under the weather

Well the last few days I have just been feeling blah. Sleeping here and there then up all night and ugh I just can't get a real decent nights sleep. I have a lot to do around the house like clean but no motivation to do so due to being crampy. So I know if I don't get it done this week I will without a doubt have to do it this weekend. I have to go grocery shopping and pick up some must haves for Josh. Like beer and snack food...lol And I want to make him some cookies or something like that. do the whole little homemaker thing...LOL

Josh will be home very soon for leave and I can't wait. The closer it gets the more excited I am getting. I kinda hope though he comes in on a weekend then I can maybe get a friend of mine to take pictures for us. I really would like to get some but not sure if it will happen. I plan on going to DFW to pick him up. I did it last time and even though its a long drive the experience the USO does there for the Troops coming in on Leave is just awesome. Plus it gives us some more time together...lol

Well I think thats it for me. I am gonna go laydown with a heating pad to help get rid of these cramps. I have nothing in this house that I can take need to remember to get tylenol when I go shopping tomorrow..lol

So I was sitting here today. I talked to Josh for a short time online and then got ready for the day made my rounds, and headed to the store for a few items. I get home playing on the computer and the door bell rings. I wasn't expecting anyone or anything so it was a little weird. Since I am not used to having people ring the door bell...lol Had I not talked to Josh this morning I think my mind would have gone there. I never felt that way last time but this time its just different. But anyways enough about that. I go open the door and he sent me flowers.

Now Josh isn't the type to send flowers. They are a once in a blue moon thing. I could go years without flowers but this deployment he sent me flowers twice.lol Once while I was home visiting my family and then today. They are pretty. And just what I needed to have a pick me up.

And it all stems because we have been working on our marriage to make it stronger. What marriage don't need a littl help anyways...lol I recommend this book to everyone and anyone...LOL

We both have read the book The Five Love Languages and it has just opened up a lot for us to talk about and not only that also able to look at ourselves and have those "duh" moments...LOL I am not one for a lot of self help books. And well Josh don't enjoy reading like I do. But what surprised me was he picked up the book himself to read. We first got a copy at a marriage retreat thru the Chaplin and neither of us have read it till now.

Been Busy

Well I have just been busy with life...LOL Last weekend my MIL came down for a short visit. Not nearly long enough but it was so nice to see her. I love having company..LOL We went out to eat to Olive Garden love that place but I really shouldn't eat there. Then we went to see Step Brothers. Good movie for what I saw. Josh called during the movie so I had to step out so I could talk to him. Then we came back here and played Wii. Had a good time talking and just catching up.

Josh will be coming home for leave soon. I am getting excited. Today I booked our room for our overnight get away. We are staying at Fredericksburg Inn and Suits so that should be fun. I did look at some other places and it was so hard to choose..lol But I decided to just stick with what I already got.

Its been raining today not as bad as the last few days but still I am sick of rain. Seems we have a lot of thunder going on though. And of course Diva jumps with every bang and tries to get closer to me. And let me tell ya she can't get any closer then she is unless she is ontop of me. She is under my feet and desk and there is no room for my feet...lol

The other day I ran to Target. Love that store its the devil I tell ya. I can't walk out of there with out spending way more then I intend to. Buts its all good cause I did get stuff that we needed jsut didn't need right away..lol Went again yesterday and was so proud I just got what I needed and then two movies...lol But the movies are for Josh's care package so thats ok. At least I tell myself that...lol

I found a set of furniture that I liked and you can't beat the price but I showed Josh and he don't like the color. I love the color...lol So good thing I picked out some others so that way we can go from there. I know I could just go get the one I showed him but I want him to feel like what he wants matters too. So hopefully when he gets home we can go get new furniture or at least pick some out and all that jazz...lol

Well thank God for the auto save on here. Our Power had just gone out as I was typing...LOL good thing it came back on cause I would have nothing to do..lol
Well I think thats it for now. Nothing to exciting but exciting enough for me.

Had a Blast tonight

So tonight was the night for the concert. And man was it a blast. I just love Theory and Hinder. Hell I love them all...LOL We got some good pics but overall my camera sucked...LOL Normally it takes really good pic but oh well at least we got some...lol

I can't believe for a glass of beer its 5.50...LOL I was like dam. Of course it got a little crazy people moshing and stuff but still very fun. We made it to the front and just rocked out. I went to get a beer and had some physco wife getting all pissed cause her husband was gonna buy my beer...LOL Man if looks could kill. Hell she was mad when they walked up...lol That I don't understand how woman can be that way. I mean hello I wasn't gonna try to take her man home.

1 I am married and 2 he was butt ass ugly..lol

One thing I was disappointed in was that people don't think and were bringing there small kids. Not like a 10 yr old going to their first concert but little kids like 5/6 and younger. I mean really who brings their kids to a concert like that and brings them up there. It would be one thing if they were in seats. But they were on the floor. WTF and of course someone had lost their kid in it all. Poor kid.

And my feet are killing me. I wore some shoes that are not very comfortable...LOL I have only wore them like 2 other times and not for as long as I did tonight. So yeah as soon as we got outside they came off...lol and I my voice is a bit horse so I know when I get up tomorrow I won't have one...lol

Tomorrow I am going to see Staind, Hinder and Theory of a Deadman. I can't wait to rock out with my girl Ashley. Last time our husbands were deployed we went to see Hinder, Theory and Faktion. All awesome!!! I think this will be our new tradtion...LOL

I went shopping today to get new jeans and tank top. What a great feeling to be able to put on a pair of twelves. I have lost so far 80lbs over half way to my goal and its just great to be going down. I haven't been in a 12 since shit high school...lol so it was a great feeling. I ventured over to Fort Hood Harley and found the perfect tank top as well as many other shirts but I was good only walked out with the tank top...lol But think I may go back because they have some really cute boots that are on clearance so thinking on Thursday I will go back and grab them. I mean 150.00 shoes for 70.00 can't beat that price. Although its a nice store very friendly and stuff was a bit disappointed in their selections for hair accessories like bandannas. I was really hoping to find one to match the shirt I got. Sure I could have gotten a different tank but I didn't want to. So I guess I will just do my hair tomorrow night or wear a head band. So that was my day out today..lol

Now on to my small vent the IRS. Back in 04 we owed. Well this year we were finally able to pay them off. WOO HOO well now I get a letter saying to call cause they can't compute the total we still owe. WTF is that about. So I called and get a message saying due to their high call volume I am to call back a different day because they can't help me. Um ok. But also in the letter is says I have 10 days to call. So I guess I will be calling again tomorrow. And really when I match their numbers to our numbers THEY OWE US not the other way around. I hope we can get this straightened out.

Well I am off for now. Want to catch up on some shows and play in PSP have a few that I have tut up yet.

Well today is monday I survived another boring weekend...LOL Didn't really do much at all. Besides play on the computer and watch the Olympics. I really enjoy watching the Gymnastics mens and women's also enjoy swimming. Kinda sad that our girls didn't do to hot. But still they do way better then I could ever do...LOL

Had a treat today as well. Got to talk to Josh. I prepare myself to not hear from him for a while and then he calls..lol I don't mind at all. It was just a short less then a minute phone call enough to say I love you and I have to go...LOL gotta love it.

I am babysitting today so its kinda a long day for me. Not used to having kids around. Poor Diva is just not happy about it either. I mean really god forbid the attention has to go elsewhere..lol
I am hoping he will lay down here shortly for a nap cause I sure could use one. Not used to getting up so early.
